Department of Transportation (TXDOT) – Brownwood District

Project Type: Waste Management
Legacee holds contracts for both TXDOT and TDCJ to provide labor,
repackaging, over-packing, labeling, profiling, sampling, analysis,
disposal, transportation and manifesting of a variety of waste streams.

Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ)
Austin, TX
Project Type: Lab Pack Services
Legacee holds a 3-year contract to inventory, segregate, pack,
label, transport and dispose of lab chemicals and various other
hazardous wastes at facility labs.

Project Type: Lab Pack Services
Legacee personnel properly inventoried, packaged, profiled, and
disposed of over 3000 expired and unwanted laboratory chemicals
for all university labs. Also provided a computerized inventory
for tracking of all chemicals to final disposition.

Project Type: Disaster Recovery
This project involved collection, segregation, packaging and disposal
of household hazardous wastes as a result of flood devastation.
Legacee personnel characterized and packaged over 12,000 pounds
of household hazardous wastes, including flammable, combustible
and corrosive materials. Legacee also holds this 5-year contract.

City of Paris
Paris, TX.
Project Type: HHW Collection Event
Legacee conducted a one-day household hazardous waste collection
event for local residents. The project consisted of collection,
segregation, packaging and disposal of materials such as pesticides,
paints, solvents, used oil and tires. Legacee also prepared and
submitted all notifications to the TNRCC.

Project Type: Asbestos/Lead Abatement/PCB clean-up
This project involved removal and disposal of lead containing paint
and asbestos containing gypsum wallboard, joint compound, window
glazing and caulking located in various areas throughout a two-story
campus building. This project also involved chemically cleaning
concrete floor and excavating sand both contaminated w/Polychlorinated
biphenyls.

Beaumont, TX
Project Type: Emergency Response Services
Legacee provided emergency response services for oil and paint
spill. Legacee personnel contained spilled material, investigated
the origin of release, remediated all impacted surfaces, and expedited
removal of 260 yards of contaminated soil.

Project Type: Environmental Remediation
Legacee personnel provided project management for all phases of
the site remediation, which involved removal and disposal of 3000
yards of lead contaminated soil.

Houston Independent School District
Houston, TX.
Project Type: Emergency Response/Environmental Consulting
• Legacee provide emergency response services for a large
mercury spill at a District school. All impacted areas were cleaned
and decontaminated within NIOSH exposure limits guidelines.
• Legacee personnel conducted an assessment of a District
school’s chemical storage areas. The assessment addressed
the areas of chemical storage and disposal, lab safety, emergency
preparedness, recordkeeping and general housekeeping. Legacee provided
a corrective action report to assist in developing prudent practices
in all laboratories and chemical storage areas.
• Legacee also performed three (3) Phase II ESA’s for
tracts of raw land designated for future development.

Project Type: UST Removal
This project involved the removal and disposal of a 1,000-gallon
underground storage tank, including soil samples and analysis and
providing backfill material. Also, included filing of all notifications
and obtaining all necessary permits.

Project Type: Environmental Consulting
Scope of Work
Legacee personnel developed and implemented a tailor-made regulatory
compliance maintenance program. The program consist of monthly assessments
and services as required to Notice of Registration, Waste Determinations,
Contingency Plan, Source Reduction and Waste Minimization Plan,
Annual Waste Summary Report, and hazardous material handling training.
